GEORGIA — State authorities are continuing the search for a missing man who disappeared alongside a woman Saturday at Lake Oconee near Wallace Dam.

The Department of Natural Resources on Friday said game wardens resumed their search for the man at least two days after rain hindered the pursuit. Authorities first learned of the pair's disappearance after being alerted to an empty vessel circling the water.

While authorities have not publicly identified the man, he was named as Westminster coach Gary Jones in a Fox 5 Atlanta report.

The body of 49-year-old Atlanta resident Joycelyn Nicole Wilson was recovered Sunday at the lake, the DNR said.

Wilson, a senior math instructor at Spelman College, had been with the Atlanta college since 2007, college officials said in a statement to Fox 5 Atlanta.

It is unknown what led to Wilson and Jones' disappearance, but authorities have said there is no sign of foul play.
