Carter's Distribution Center is hiring for the following jobs:Β 

General distribution center employeeΒ β€” Responsible for general distribution center work, including picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc. Applicants should have a basic working knowledge of computers, RF scanners and warehouse management systems and the ability to lift at least 40 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.Β

Shipping clerkΒ β€”Β Responsible for building loads, routing electronically per customer instruction, coordinating pickups and deliveries, as well as properly handling all shipping documents. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, proven experience and success within a high volume shipping/transportation setting and basic working knowledge of computers, RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

Yard driverΒ β€”Β Places empty trailers/containers into the loading dock doors and seals and removes loaded trailers. Qualified applicants must be able to use a trailer scale to weigh loads and seal trailer and possess basic working knowledge of computers, RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

Production coordinatorΒ β€”Β Responsible for housekeeping, safety and C-TPAT compliance in area of responsibility, as well asΒ promoting employee productivity and accuracy, monitoring daily activity of all assigned employees and training new employees and continue training as needed for operations and lift certification. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.Β 

Supervisor for wave planningΒ β€”Β Actively participates and assists with the flow of work into and out of the facility (wave, track, print, systemically complete all customer orders). Manages competing priorities by business units (corporate) and departments (facility) and ensures accuracy and timeliness (starting and closing) of all workflow waves. Qualifications include a general understanding and knowledge of the latest distribution center technologies (Manhattan warehouse management systems, automated unit sortation, automated storage and retrieval system/goods-to-person, automated shipping and receiving sortation, pick-to-light, radio-frequency scanners, warehouse control systems, conveyors, etc.) and experience leading teams of 10-plus associates.Β BS/BA degree in a related field preferred, as well as two to five years of managerial level experience with a preference of one to three years in the apparel distribution functional area.
