NOHS Tennis Splits with Collins Hill

The Lady Titans held off Collins Hill 3-2 at a home match Tuesday afternoon.  In the season opener, NOHS won all three singles matches with Becca Bruning winning 6-1, 6-1 at #1; Amber Hudson beating her opponent at #2, 6-1, 7-5; and Mary Campbell Cobb winning at #3 by a score of 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 for her first high school victory.

Unfortunately the Titan boys fell short in their attempt to best the 5-A Gwinnett County school, taking only two of the five matches.  Prevailing for the Titans were Peter Bertran at #1 singles 6-4, 6-4, and Ray Donovan at #3, 6-2, 6-4.
