- Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests continue this week for third through eighth graders at Oconee County Schools. Superintendent John Jackson has said students should get plenty of rest and eat hearty breakfasts.
- A ribbon cutting-ceremony will be held at Cross Fit Oconee, located 1071 Jamestown Blvd, Suite EI across from the Oconee Youth Playhouse, at 10 a.m. The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is holding the event.
- UGA's Diamond Dogs face rival Georgia Tech at Turner Field for a 7 p.m. game. Go Dawgs!
