Read about the history of Juneteenth and make plans to attend a local celebration — the Northeast Georgia Black Leadership Council will hold its first Northeast Georgia Juneteenth festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Winder Picnic Pavilion.
