Here are some events you may want to know about.

From 3:15 to 4:15pm on October 29th, your child will have a chance to Read to Rover at the Oconee Public Library. You can register for a 15-minute session. Reading to someone who's non-judgmental helps build confidence.

If politics isn't your interest, you might check out a two-hour class at the State Botanical Garden, where you can learn how to make soap from beeswax. The cost for the class, which runs from 6 to 8pm on October 29th, is 25th. Contact  Cora Keber, Education Coordinator, at 706-542-6156 if you're interested.
What could be spookier on Halloween than a ghost walk? You can walk with the spirits at 8pm on Halloween Eve by meeting at the Eagle Tavern Museum.
