Police: Man Creates and Attempts to Cash Bogus Check
The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

An Atlanta man has been charged with forgery in the first degree after police say he fabricated a check and attempted to cash it at a Watkinsville bank.
According to a news release from Police Chief Lee O'Dillon, an alert teller on March 19 notified police that a man was at Oconee State Bank on Main Street attempting to cash a bogus check. Police arrived and took Kareem Donelle Dixon, 32, of Atlanta into custody, he said.
Dixon is accused of creating a fake check in the amount of $1,593 written on an Oconee County business and presenting it for payment at the bank.
