Prince Avenue Christian School Students Present "Godspell" on October 19th
The musical has been described as a Christian rock opera.

The Prince Avenue Christian School Fine Arts Department is doing “Godspell” this Saturday at 2pm and again at 7pm. The performance will be in the Prince Avenue Baptist Church Children’s Theatre. Tickets may be purchased for $11 through the school’s website or for $15 at the door. The popular musical is based on the Gospel of Matthew and is put together as a series of parables. Senior Christopher Stiles is playing Jesus, while junior Luke Wallace is Judas. The cast will also enter a one-act version of Godspell in the regional competition at Piedmont College on October 26. Other cast members include includes seniors Gracie Brownlee and Chris Stiles, juniors Rachel Adams, Cole Hurley, Luke Wallace, and Josh Whalen, sophomores Will Adams, Will Douglas, and Joy Harris, and freshmen Cailyn Bloodworth and Macy Frazier, with junior Scott Aldin as a sound and light technician and junior Rachel Steele as stage manager.
