Human Remains Found in Wooded Area - Midtown Patch
A medical examiner confirmed Saturday that remains found Friday on Atlantaβs west side are those of a human being.
Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee said officers responded to the area of Marietta Boulevard and Chattahoochee Avenue late Friday afternoon, where the remains were discovered by several people walking in a wooded area nearΒ Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pit Bull Puppy at Center of Dispute in Athens -- Athens Patch
A woman returned to her Massey Lane residence at 4:40pm on January 4 to discover a man climbing out of a window in the front of her residence.
The man was handing a Pit Bull puppy and dog bed out the window to a woman who was standing on the front porch. The resident confronted the two suspects, and the man claimed that he was part owner of the puppy, which had been given to a family member as a gift.
