Sale of Beer and Wine at New Movie Theater in Oconee County Approved
University 16 Cinemas in the Epps Bridge Centre is set to open in June.
The Oconee County Board of Commissioners voted this week to approve the sale of beer and wine at the movie theater under construction at the Epps Bridge Center.
The Athens Banner-Herald reports the vote was unanimous to grant an alcohol license to Georgia Theatre Company for the restaurant portion of University 16 Cinemas. The restaurant will include auditorium 8, one of the 16 auditoriums within the complex.
The theater is set to open in June.
