Titans Football Coach Hopes for Region Championship Three-peat, Dome Play

A quick glimpse of the season that lies ahead for North Oconee High School.

2012 accomplishments: “10-2, won Region 8AAA, lost to eventual state champ Buford 13-0 in the second round of state playoffs.  Our other loss was opening game to St. Pius X from Atlanta. Buford and St. Pius played in the Dome for AAA championship. 2012 Football marked the 5th year in a row of making the play offs for NOHS.  One of a few schools in state history that has made the playoffs every year that they have been eligible to do so.”

Top players in 2013: Kawon Bryant, junior RB; Tate Adcock, junior QB; Caleb Wilson, junior QB (injured); Preston Langley, junior RT; Logan Thomas, senior C; J.L. Banks, junior DE; Anderson Carter, senior DE; Indy Wilson, senior LB; Brandy Glenn, senior LB.

Coach’s season outlook: “Three-peat the Region championship, get past the second round (have lost at that level 4 of last 5 years), play in the Dome.”
