Weekend Planner: A Musical, Pageant, and Multiple Benefits

Where/When: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday March 23-25 at the Oconee County Civic Center. Shows begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday.

Why Go: To support the OCHS Fine Arts Department and laugh along to a great musical.

Pricing: $5 for students, $10 for adults

 

Where/When: Saturday, March 24  7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sandy Creek Park in Athens

Why Go: To spend a day on the lake participating in a sport you love while raising money for a good cause.

Pricing: $100 a team (one or two adults or one adult and up to three children, age 15 and under)

 

Where/When: Saturday, March 24 at beginning at 2 p.m.

Why Go: To remember 9-year-old Nicholas Pope and raise money for ESP and the Georgia Sheriff's Youth Homes. Last year more than 100 golfers participated!

Pricing: $75 per golfer

Pricing: $10, Kids 10 and under eat free

Why Go: To cheer on contestants and raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
