Where/When: Friday and Saturday April 27-28 at at 8 p.m.There is also a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee.

Why Go: To witness an opera showdown you won't soon forget and enjoy community theatre.
Pricing: $5

Where/When: Saturday, April 28 at . The one mile fun run begins at 2:30 p.m. and the 5K follows at 3 p.m.
Why Go: To support and enjoy the spring day by being active.
Pricing: $20 per runner and $10 for those who do not wish to have a t-shirt.
Where/When: in Watkinsville on Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Why Go: To enjoy farm activities, unique arts and crafts vendors, festival foods and live entertainment, as well as pick delicious strawberries. This year there will also be a strawberry cook-off.
Pricing: $8 per person ages 2 and up.
Where/When: Downtown Athens on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. (women's race) and 8:45 p.m. (men's race).
Why Go: To see these races that attract cyclists representing teams from all over the nation and the world and enjoy one of the region’s great spring events.
Pricing: Free for onlookers.
Where/When: Sunday, April 29 at The Classic Center Foundry Street Warehouses from 1-3 p.m.
Why Go: To don your most outrageous hat and enjoy a party riddled with games and crafts. There will also be a silent auction. The event benefits the Jeannette Rankin Foundation.
Pricing: Reservations are $30 per person or $300 for a table of 10 guests.
