Why Go: To enjoy yummy barbecue, coleslaw, beans, bread and homemade cake and support Saints for a Cure and their quest to raise money for this year's Oconee County Relay for Life.
Pricing: $7 per plate
Where/When: 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Oconee campus of Gainesville State College
Why Go: To race in a 5K or family fun run or just support the participants. Monies raised will benefit Gainesville State College Oconee Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter.
Pricing: $20 to participate, free to cheer on the runners!
Where/When: 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26 at The Foundry Park Inn and Spa
Why Go: To sample a variety of cuisine and coctails and meet about two dozen vendors, including florists, bakers, photographers, entertainers and more.
