Accomplishment: Seth has been a scout since he joined Cub Scout Pack #80 while in the first grade at . He left as the most decorated cub scoutΒ at that time, including achieving Cub Scouts' highest award,Β the "Arrow of Light."

He crossed over into Boy Scouts when he started at by joining Troop #149. In 2010, the troop grew so large, they had to split, so he movedΒ with the new Troop #537, sponsoredΒ by .

One requirement neededΒ to become an Eagle Scout, is to earn 21 merit badges. Seth earned 61, plus six "Eagle Palms." For hisΒ Eagle Project, Seth led a crew to help clear debris from the Watkinsville Cemetery. by Mayor Joe Walter at his final Council Meeting on Dec. 14, 2011. Seth earnedΒ his Eagle Scout Rank in January 2012 --during the 100th year of Eagle Scouts. Nationally, only five percent of Scouts earn this ranking.

Key to Awesomeness: Seth is now inΒ training to be an assistant scoutmaster for his troop. He is a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, the Chess Club at OCHS and will graduate in May.

Seth's Eagle Court of Honor will be held on March 25 from 1:30 - 3 p.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church. There will be a dessert reception following the ceremony.
