It's not every day that 10th graders are offered a merit scholarship to attend college early. But for one Roswell sophomore, that's exactly the case.
Spencer Kee, a North Springs High School student, earned a place at Bard College at Simon's Rock along with a substantial merit scholarship for his academic and extracurricular achievements.
Simon's Rock, the nation's only exclusively early college, extended an offer to Kee to join the fall 2013 entering class. The Great Barrington, Massachusetts campus is home to 400 bright and highly motivated early college students engaged in a rigorous college education. Early college students are on track to graduate from college one or two year years ahead of their peers.
