12 Rings Stolen From Roswell Antique Shop

Two men are accused of taking the rings valued at $3,000 from Market Place Antiques.

ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Police Department is looking for two men accused of taking a dozen rings from an antiques shop.

According to the department, two men entered Market Place Antiques at 425 Market Place Thursday, Dec. 6. The business is located off Holcomb Bridge Road/Ga. 140 just east of Grimes Bridge Road.

While one man distracted the employee, the other "broke into a jewelry display case" and took 12 rings valued at $3,000, the agency said on its Facebook page.

Following the alleged theft, both suspects left the store separately, police said. Anyone with information about either subject is asked to contact Detective J. Marshall with the Roswell Police Department at 770-640-4100.
