$77M Could Fund Transportation Improvement Projects: Johns Creek
Voters will have a chance Nov. 2 to vote on a special tax that would improve bridges, congestion and more.

JOHNS CREEK — Five transportation improvement projects in Johns Creek could get completed if Fulton County voters vote on a .75 percent sales tax, according to the city. The 5-year Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax could collect approximately $77 million in TSPLOST funds over five year.
The City of Johns Creek has identified five types of transportation improvements that could be funded by TSPLOST:
Six bridges will need to be replaced
Traffic congestion could be relieved
Intersections could be improved
Landscape and streetscape projects
Pedestrian and bike improvements
