Who should you turn to in a rapidly changing real estate market?

If you needed a complex medical procedure, would you choose a doctor fresh out of med school — or one with years of experience who’d done the procedure successfully hundreds of times?
The answer of course is obvious: experience matters. The same is true for the largest financial transaction of your life: the buying and selling of a home — even more so in today’s complex and fast-changing real estate market.

Here are the top three stories today in Roswell:
- Sarah Beeson defeated her competitor Allen Sells in the runoff election on December 6. Beeson earned 52% of the vote and will serve the remainder of the former Post 1 Council Member, Marcelo Zapata's term. This run-off election's voter turnout was less than last month's general election totals. Beeson will hold the seat until it's up again for election next year. (the georgiasun.com)
- The annual Tree Lighting ceremony was on Friday, December 2 in downtown's Heart of Roswell Park. A section of Canton St. was closed to allow the public to revel in cups hot chocolate, Christmas carols, s’mores, and many other activities. One of the highlights of the evening was Mayor Wilson's reading of the Christmas classic, "’Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Santa Claus was escorted in style by the Roswell Fire Department. The event ran from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, however, the festivities continued throughout until the wee hours of the morning along Canton St. (appenmedia.com)
- The recent rains brought some flooding to the Roswell-Alpharetta area over the last couple of days. Three construction workers had to be rescued by the Alpharetta Fire Department after being stranded by rising flood waters. They were working on a construction project behind North Point Community Church on North Point Pkwy. Big Creek began to overflow as crews were working. The water level rose quickly, and soon reached waist deep. The Fire Department was called to the scene for a water rescue. The workers were evaluated onsite and were released. (WSB Atlanta)
From our sponsor:
Are you a Roswell resident looking for an investment alternative to the stock market? Consider fine art. Masterworks is the award-winning platform helping 575,000+ invest in works by the same world-renowned artists that are coveted by ultra-wealthy collectors and major museums alike (think Picasso, Basquiat, and Banksy.) Masterworks splits these multi-million dollar works into shares, so you can invest without breaking the bank.
Contemporary art has outpaced the stock market by a whopping 131% over the last 26 years. Seven of Masterworks’ eight sold paintings gave their investors a +17.8% net returns*.
