- An open point BMW motorcycle dealership is coming to Roswell. Motos America, Inc., a publicly-traded motorcycle dealership group, announced today that Roswell was chosen as the location of this new dealership. This new facility will offer new and pre-owned BMW motorcycles, parts, accessories, apparel and service. Motos America, Inc. boasts that this dealership will have the latest service technology and will be staffed by experienced BMW master technicians, service and sales reps. (digitaljournal.com)
- Roswell Police have reported that earlier this month a man was attacked after using the ATM at Wells Fargo ATM on Old Holcomb Bridge Way. After using the ATM, the man was then followed to his home where he was attacked with a gun. The attacker then demanded money and asked if he had CashApp or Apple Pay. The victim was knocked unconscious. The attacker could not be identified and the police are still investigating. (appenmedia.com)
- The Roswell Police Department has posted about a recent scam that's affecting the residents of Roswell. Some residents have reported receiving scam text messages stating that RPD has t-shirts for sale. RPD states this text message is a scam and not associated with the Roswell Police Department. - The Roswell Channel (the Mobile Visitor Center van) will be setting up at the From the Earth Brewing Company. The Channel will be hanging out at the Back Porch Concert Series at the brewery on Saturday, July 16. Stop by the Roswell Channel while your there. (visitorsroswellga.com)
- More than 125 Alpharetta residents voiced their concerns at the virtual City Council meeting on July 13 over the proposed hotel on the Alpharetta-Milton border. An 80-room boutique hotel will also have amenities, meeting and event spaces, as well as a restaurant and rooftop bar and pool. Most of the residents opposed this proposal and cited traffic and the scale of the building as some of the major concerns. The virtual meeting was cut short when it was interrupted by disruptive attendees. The city has promised to address any unanswered questions or concerns. (appenmedia.com)
- The Doobie Brothers' 50th Anniversary Tour will come to Ameris Bank Amphitheater on Sunday July 17. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. (awesomealpharetta.com)
