Here are the top four stories today in Roswell:
- Roswell Complete Dentistry on Old Alabama Road has received an award from the group Find Local Doctors. This award was given to the practice for its reviews left by patients and the five-star ratings it received from various sources. Find Local Doctors is a web-based directory that assists consumers with finding reliable dentists and physicians of good repute in their local areas. Dr. Meghana Sharma from Roswell Complete Dentistry says, "Our team is thrilled to receive this award from Find Local Doctors." She also expresses that she and her team honors their relationships with patients while "creating and maintaining healthy, beautiful smiles." (finance.yahoo.com)
- The Roswell-based education leader for pre-K-12 mindsets-based learning, 7 Mindsets, is continuing to grow by expanding its executive leadership team. The organization announced that it has named Robin Glenn as its new chief strategy and business development officer. Glenn will manage the development of the curriculum and the strategic initiatives for 7 Mindsets. She has been working with at-risk teens for 25 years. Also, Dr. Clark McKown has been appointed to chief science officer. He is also the founder of xSEL Labs. Mark Belles, the CEO of 7 Mindsets, says that “having the right mix of talent on our executive team is critical as 7 Mindsets continues to grow.” (globenewswire.com)
- Access Atlanta has complied a list of the 10 best eateries in the metro area that are the best for experiencing Louisiana-style cuisine to celebrate Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras. Restaurants from Decatur to Kennesaw were evaluated and of course one of Roswell's own made the list. Hugo’s Oyster Bar on Alpharetta Street is known for replicating the "tastes and ambiance of the coastal American South." The restaurant was founded by the same creators of C & S Seafood and Oyster Bar in Vinings and Sandy Springs (accessatlanta.com)
- The Roswell PD has issued a BOLO for a missing person. A 25-year-old man with bi-polar disorder has been reported missing by family members. He was last seen on February 11 after leaving his Roswell residence. The Roswell PD has listed a full description of the man along with his photo on its social media accounts. Police asked residents to be on the lookout for this individual and to contact them if he is seen or if there is any information regarding this case. (facebook.com)

- Roswell, Georgia Fire Department: On Tuesday the Citizen's Fire Academy had a chance to get up close and personal with the firefighters in our city. The class visited Fire Station 24 to tour the firehouse, equipment, and of course the fire trucks. They were also able to dine with the crew at Station 24. - Nextdoor Neighbor, Roswell Manor: There is a local meeting group for writers. "The Writing Circle" meets every other Sunday on Zoom. The group uses the Pomodoro Technique to help you create your ideas and offers a support group for those looking to hone and diversify their skills. (Nextdoor)
- City of Roswell, Georgia Government: In connection with the Roswell Roots festival and American Heart Health Month, the city will be hosting a Black Health and Well-Being event.
