Chrysalis Students Get Entrepreneurial Mentoring
Roswell-area business leaders will be offering their expertise from the business plan through launch stage.
Chrysalis Experiential Academy is home to student entrepreneurs who serve as CEOs of their own businesses as well as students who are proposing new businesses. This unique entrepreneurial tract is designed to provide these student CEOs with the ability to maximize their profit margins, learn to give back to the community, and to master and build the necessary skills for future business management.
Four key local business partners are sharing their expertise and leadership to train the entrepreneurs for future success: Kevin Bamford from the Bank of North Georgia, Maleia Smith from Northridge Restoration, Stacey Scott of Elgia, Inc, and Dan Carmody of Studio 7.
Kevin Bamford from the Bank of North Georgia will be reviewing the development and creation of business plans so that students are able to present them in seeking financial support to grow and expand their businesses.
Maleia Smith of North Ridge Restoration will train students in all areas of marketing their business and product or service. She will show them how they can create a visible and viable business.

Stacey Scott, CEO of Elgia, Inc., will coach students in both direct and technical support for their customer data base. Stacey will show students how to gain and keep customers.
Dan Carmody from Studio 7 will provide guidance in traditional marketing aspects including photography, videography and print media.

In an effort to promote social responsibility and community involvement, the 5th through 12th grade students are required to donate 15% of their annual funds to an outside charity. The charities currently supported are Roswell Food Bank, Chip Nation Foundation, Orange Duffel Bag Foundation, Feel Beautiful Today and the American Diabetes Association.
