City Contracts with SAFEBuilt for Building Services: Public Meeting Scheduled
Meet Roswell's new code enforcement company next week, Wednesday, Aug. 29.

SAFEBuilt, the city’s new contractor for code enforcement and building code administration, will hold a public open house to introduce itself to Roswell residents next week.
The open house will focus on SAFEBuilt’s work flow changes and their Neighborhood Improvement Program. It will be a great opportunity to meet the staff and have questions answered about this new partnership, according to the city.
“Our approach to code enforcement is unique and includes the creation of Neighborhood Improvement Teams. Homeowner’s associations, business districts, or other types of neighborhood groups, can be the forum for dialogue about the issues facing the group and an opportunity to brainstorm solutions,” says Jon Walker, southeast director of operations at SAFEbuilt. “We believe that with thoughtful explanations and outreach, citizens are more willing to comply.”
