This action was approved by 4-0 unanimous vote by the council. These elections were historically conducted by Fulton County. Fellow Roswell resident's, U.S. Army Security Agency E5 Specialist Robert Anderson, service to his country and community were also honored at Monday's meeting. He was named as the city's newest Esteemed Veteran of Roswell. There is are complete notes of the meeting's minutes, and a video recap of the meeting on the city's website. (Press Release Desk )

He will be in Roswell on February 25 to debut and examine his essay collection, “Black on Black: On Our Resilience and Brilliance in America.” This discussion is a apart of the Atlanta Authors Series which is sponsored by the Friends of the Roswell Library and the Friends of the East Roswell Library.
