Each class is estimated to run 60-90 minutes and is limited to 25 participants.
The Fire Department will use the American Heart Association's (AHA) Family and Friends first aid curriculum, which is for people who want to learn first aid but do not need a course completion card in first aid for their job. The course is ideal for students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on first aid practice time possible.
To register for the class, please visit the City’s website at www.roswellgov.com/fire.
All COVID safety guidelines as per the CDC and the City of Roswell will be followed.
