Cumming Woman Charged With Meth Trafficking In Roswell

Almost 7 pounds of methamphetamine were seized during a traffic stop and arrest, the Roswell Police Department said on Facebook.

ROSWELL, GA — A Cumming woman accused of trafficking methamphetamine is in jail following a traffic stop Thursday night.

The 31-year-old driver, whose name has not yet been released by police, faces charges of trafficking in schedule II substances.

She was taken to the Fulton County Jail, according to the department's Facebook page.

"We had a different kind of ice on our roads last night," the police department posted to Facebook. "No need to worry though, our night shift patrol officers made sure to get rid of all 6.71 pounds of it."

According to police, an officer pulled over a car during a traffic stop in Roswell about 11:30 p.m. During the investigation, the officer found three Ziploc bags filled with almost 7 pounds of meth.
