'Curves Day' Proclaimed by Local Leaders

Roswell Mayor Jere Wood joined others in declaring last Thursday, May 17, "Curves Day" as part of the National Women's Health Week.

Roswell Mayor Jere Wood and Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle, along with Georgia Governor Nathan Deal declared the first Thursday following Mothers Day "Curves Day," during National Women’s Health Week.

Roswell Councilwoman Nancy Diamond read a proclamation denoting the day last Thursday, May 17, during the special event to celebrate. Curves members and guests were treated to health related exhibits and samplings. Guests also received free 30-Day Memberships to the local fitness clubs.

In Roswell, several local businesses participated in the event, including Oli & Ve, FaceLogic, Organo Gold Coffee, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Walgreens, Absolute Chiropractic Wellness Center, Leading Edge Sports and Spine, Sam’s Club and Chiropractic Care.
