Fellowship Students Participate in Roswell's National Day of Prayer

Students attended and were a part of the May 2 event.

Fellowship Christian School (FCS) students recently participated in the observance of the National Day of Prayer at Roswell City Hall.

FCS students sang America the Beautiful and God Bless America. They also recited a portion of the Declaration of Independence.

Sydney Herring, Katie McCrory and Sarah Finch, the FCS high school girls trio, sang The Star Spangled Banner. And Fellowship Board member Ron Haigler prayed for the Roswell business community and those employed by Roswell businesses.

Special guests at the event included Roswell Mayor Jere Wood, WSB-Channel 2 reporter Mark Winne and Georgia State Senator Brandon Beach.

While the event takes place at Roswell City Hall, it is not sponsored by the city, but by Raise His Praise Worship Center.
