  1. The Roswell Library will offer free child eye exams on July 25 and at the East Roswell Library on July 27. This service is being offered through a partnership between the Fulton County Library System and the Vision to Learn organization. This partnership is to raise awareness on the importance of regular eye exams, especially considering the use of screen time children have had since online learning and the pandemic. Parents are urged to register. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. The family of the 23-year-old Roswell woman who was fatally shot on July 6 is raising money for her funeral and to help support her children. Roswell police reported on July 11, that they are still looking for Fabien Malik Perry, who is accused of the crime. As of July 13, the GOFUNDME had raised more than $20,000 out of their $50,000 goal.(appenmedia.com)
  3. The City of Roswell promotes their "Pick Up #2" campaign. They are asking residents to help them spread the word about dog waste and the impact on our community, wastewater and environment.   4. Christopher Martini is a rising senior at the Cottage School in Roswell. He has been selected to attend the 2022 Georgia Governor’s Honors Program, which will be hosted at Berry College in Rome. The Governor's Honors Program celebrated gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors. Over 3,200 students were nominated at the state level, 641 were chosen as finalists and the students come from 205 different high schools across Georgia. (appenmedia.com)
