GE Donates 10K to Chattahoochee Nature Center

While local families celebrated Earth Day early at the (CNC) in Roswell this past weekend, GE presented the CNC with a $10,000 grant that will be used for the center’s scholarship program.

Building on GE’s larger efforts to address today's environmental challenges, the grant will help the CNC continue to offer schools financial assistance to bring students to the CNC to learn about the natural world. In correlation to the Georgia Performance Standards, the CNC programs both teach students about ecology and empower them to positively impact their local environment, offering tips and simple steps students can act on to protect the environment.
