IrishFest Comes To Roswell In November

The two-day event begins Nov. 4 at several venues.

The 10th annual IrishFest Atlanta will feature popular traditional Irish bands Altan & Lúnasa. This year’s event will be a two-day affair, taking place in various indoor and outdoor venues in Historic Roswell on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.

The festival features free programming that includes music and dance performances, family fun activities, lectures, and an Irish céilí (kaylee) where all can join this social dancing experience. Ticketed events include evening concerts with Altan & Lúnasa; music, song and dance workshops; an Irish Tea with the Consul General of Ireland, Atlanta; and whiskey and food tastings. Irish and local vendors will be on hand to sell their products with an online auction of special items where the proceeds support programming.

“For ten years we’ve been deeply committed to bringing the best traditional Irish Musicians to the festival to perform and conduct workshops,” said Teresa M. Finley, Director of IrishFest Atlanta. Alongside these guest artists are the many talented local musicians, dancers, singers, chefs, actors, lecturers and amazing volunteers that will offer a wonderful experience of Irish culture.
