- Congresswoman Lucy McBath visited the city of Roswell on August 16. Congresswoman McBath was a special guest at the Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility in Roswell. - Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson is weighing the benefits of continuing to apply for the federal Community Development Block Grant program from HUD. This federal aid is to be used for creating viable communities with decent housing, suitable living environments and economic opportunities. This helps those with low and moderate incomes. The mayor stated that he's open to using the CDBG funds to find valuable solutions to those in need. (appenmedia.com)

The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections is currently in need of poll workers for the upcoming election.
