Mattie's Call Cancelled for Roswell Woman

Roswell Police have just issue a statement that they have cancelled the Mattie's Call because Marilyn Joy Stratton has been located by the Cherokee Sheriff's Office and she is fine.

Roswell Police have issued a Mattie's Call alert for an elderly woman with dementia who went missing from her home Friday afternoon. 

Marilyn Joy Stratton, 76, left her home off Shallowford Road near Jones Road around 2:15 p.m., and was last seen around 8:15 p.m. Friday night at a Steak 'n Shake restaurant at Highway 92 and Highway 575 in Woodstock, according to a statement issued by Roswell Police Officer Lisa Holland.

Police think she may be stranded because the silver 2007 Hyundai Sonata she was driving had only a quarter-tank of fuel. The vehicle -- which bears the Georgia tag AWK9038 -- has a spoiler, a sunroof and minor damage to the rear left bumper.

Holland said Stratton is 5-foot-5 and 120 pounds, and was last seen wearing a yellow/brown colored blouse and a long denim skirt. She has brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair.
