  1. The missing 64-year old man, Hussein Esmail, who Roswell Police have been looking for for the past couple of weeks has been found dead. Officers found his body in a small pond in East Roswell on Thanksgiving Day. Esmail was last seen on the evening of November 11 by Roswell Police and EMTs and was reported missing by his family on November 13. 2. A Roswell family is looking for community support after a fire ravaged their home last week. The Samples family previously received media attention after their Instagram video of their young son with Uncombable Hair Syndrome went viral. The family believes a lithium battery inside the cordless vacuum that was constantly charged, is responsible for sparking the flames. The interior of the home is completely damaged. It is expected to take more than nine months to repair the home. A GoFundMe has been set-up for the family to help them in this time of need. Families are urged to be extremely cautious as house fires occur more often in winter months than in any other season per the National Fire Protection Association. (11alive.com)
  3. A local business just received a major acknowledgement and shout out in the Digital Journal online editorial. Clark Brothers Roofing & Construction is a Roswell-based roofing contractor.
