  5. A local therapist spoke with Atlanta News First about the "power of saying no." Paige Santmyer is a licensed therapist in Roswell and teaches that the word "no" can help during this new year to redefine priorities as well as set boundaries. She told Atlanta News First that "if we aren’t taking care of ourselves and setting healthy boundaries and doing self-care, we aren’t going to have the energy or the time or interest because we’ll be burned out.” Santmyer says that the start of a new year is an ideal time to note our priorities and the things that are important.
