If you needed a complex medical procedure, would you choose a doctor fresh out of med school — or one with years of experience who’d done the procedure successfully hundreds of times?
The answer of course is obvious: experience matters. The same is true for the largest financial transaction of your life: the buying and selling of a home — even more so in today’s complex and fast-changing real estate market.

Here are the top three stories in Roswell today:
- Roswell Fire and Life Safety Educator, Chad Miller, and the City of Milton's Fire Department's Deputy Chief of Community Risk-Reduction, Alex Fortner, were chosen to attend a national training course. These two fire professionals were chosen out of numerous candidates in the North Fulton community. The training session was held at the National fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. - City councils throughout the north metro Atlanta are working to find a way for their cities to oversee their own municipal elections this upcoming autumn. They are looking for an alternative to a cost increase for administering elections that Fulton County is suggesting. In 2021, $2.96 was charged to each city per registered voter for the management of their municipal general elections. Cities were also charged $2.46 for each registered voter in runoff elections. These were also the fees that were charged in 2019. However, Fulton County has proposed a fee increase this past December. Now an an intergovernmental agreement that includes Milton, Johns Creek, Roswell and Alpharetta is in development. The plan calls for one regional election superintendent to manage these cities’ 2023 municipal elections. (appenmedia.com)
