New Cajun Restaurant, Wegman’s Bayou Louisiana Kitchen, Opens In Roswell
Wegman's Bayou Louisiana Kitchen offers fresh seafood, po'boys, gumbo and more.
ROSWELL, GA — Local chef Marc Wegman opened a new cajun restaurant in downtown Roswell.
Wegman’s Bayou Louisiana Kitchen, located at the corner of Canton Street and Woodstock, opened Jan. 14.
Wegman will serve up all the classic cajun food, fresh from the Bayou with a few new twists, according to a news release. The menu includes classic po’boys, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, fresh seafood served grilled, fried or blackened, and beignets. There’s also a fully stocked bar with carefully chosen wine, beer and liquor selections that are favorites among guests, as well as a new daiquiri machine.

“Fresh seafood is hard to come by and the extra cost makes it tempting to cut corners, but Wegman’s Bayou is committed to only serving the best, in-season, freshest food for our guests,” Wegman said in a statement.
His former restaurant, Adele’s on Canton, permanently closed in November and now as sole proprietor, he decided to open this new restaurant in the same space.
