  1. We are constantly on the go in today's society, and it sees as if there is never enough time to get everything done. Preparing healthy meals have become one of the tasks that people never have time to do. A new business in in the city is helping people do just that. Lean Kitchen provides full meals for "on-the-go." Jay Johnson, the owner, opened the eatery this past October on Alabama Rd. in Roswell. Lean Kitchen's company mission is "to save you time and money by offering you prepared meals that are healthy, fresh, and never frozen." This convenient meal option will also help those who have specific dietary goals. (appenmedia.com)
  2. Another drug trafficking operation has been dismantled in North Fulton. Giovani Orozco Ramirez was charged and convicted of running a drug operation from his Alpharetta home. During a 2017 investigation, large amounts of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and guns were found in a search of his home, and within the reach of multiple children. U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan said, “The defendant, besides dealing deadly illegal drugs, showed a reckless disregard for his children’s safety by keeping these drugs and loaded guns within their plain sight.” Ramirez was sentenced to 25 years in prison. 3. Three new members were sworn in, during a work session, to the Fulton County School Board. Michelle Morancie, Kristin McCabe and Lillie Pozatek are now members on the board. Lillie Pozatek won the District 2 seat and will represents sections of Alpharetta and Milton. Kristin McCabe is now representing District 5. This seat governs parts of Johns Creek and Alpharetta. District 7 will be represented by Michelle Morancie. She will cover Sandy Springs and areas in Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Roswell. These new members will officially take office until January 2023.
