Publix Store Manager Carjacked In Roswell

The man's truck was later found abandoned in the city of Atlanta, according to police.

ROSWELL, GA — A Publix manager reported his vehicle was carjacked by two men, one of whom was armed, last week in Roswell. An officer was dispatched around 11:56 p.m. Aug. 29 to Steak N Shake at 895 Woodstock Road.

According to an incident report released by Roswell police, the victim said his 2009 Nissan Titan pickup truck was stolen from the Publix parking lot at 885 Woodstock Road.

The suspects, the victim said, were "two black males, and he believed one of them was armed with a handgun," the report adds.

A check of the area was conducted, but the vehicle was not found. Its tag and description was provided to surrounding agencies if the truck were to make an appearance in those respective jurisdictions.

Roughly a week later on Sept. 4, the Nissan Titan was found by Atlanta police in the 500 block of Harwell Road NW. There were no signs of the suspects, and the vehicle's tag and decal were still attached.

The report provides an extremely vague description of the suspects, who are described as being between 20 and 25 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. One of the men was wearing a black hoodie and black pants, with a red bandanna over his neck, the report adds.
