If you needed a complex medical procedure, would you choose a doctor fresh out of med school — or one with years of experience who’d done the procedure successfully hundreds of times?
The answer of course is obvious: experience matters. The same is true for the largest financial transaction of your life: the buying and selling of a home — even more so in today’s complex and fast-changing real estate market.

Here are the top three stories today in Roswell:
- After a GDOT proposal, the City of Roswell has approved a Quick Response project for GA-92. This project will convert GA-92 at West Road to a Restricted Crossing U-turn intersection (RCUT). These Quick Response projects are usually small scale projects that do not require utilities to be relocated or right-of-way acquisition. This proposal came about after the Roswell DOT asked GA-DOT to preform a study on the intersection for potential safety improvements, as this intersection is the site of multiple accidents. - An after-Christmas bowling outing turned sour after the Roswell PD responded to a call from the Bowlero Roswell bowling alley at Old Roswell Rd. on Monday, December 26. A patron told police that an employee from the bowling alley had threatened to "beat him up" after requesting to change bowling lanes. The employee denied the request, but the customer switched lanes to join another group. An argument soon erupted and the threat was made by the employee. No arrests were made after police found the customer had instigated the situation. (appenmedia.com)
- The overnight storms that rolled through on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning wrecked havoc throughout North Georgia. Some areas received up to five inches of rainfall. A flash flood warning was in effect through most of the day on Wednesday throughout metro Atlanta. The City of Roswell was one of many cities who reported damage and road closures. Highway 92 Westbound was closed at Mansell Road due to heavy flooding. Roswell police reported that one vehicle got stuck in the floodwaters and urged residents to avoid the area. (wsbtv.com)
