Roswell 911 Dispatcher Joins Florence Emergency Relief Efforts
Eight Georgia 911 dispatchers are helping their counterparts in Sampson County, N.C., which was hit hard by Hurricane Florence.

ROSWELL, GA — Several emergency communication officers on Monday departed for North Carolina to help provide dispatching relief to their counterparts in areas hit hard by Hurricane Florence.
The Georgia Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce sent a team of eight to Sampson County, North Carolina, in responses to a request from the Emergency Management Assistance Compact request.
The team from Georgia will relief staff in the North Carolina county by providing call-taking and dispatching operations. Members of the team include:
