Search For Roswell 'Armed And Dangerous' Bank Robbery Suspect Ongoing

ROSWELL — The search for a bank robbery suspect remained Tuesday afternoon in the area of Old Mountain Park Road and Mountain Park, Roswell Police said in a Facebook post.

Police identified the suspect as James Raborn, 27. Police said Raborn should be considered armed and dangerous until otherwise proven.

"After an exhaustive area search, suspect James Raborn has not been located at this time. We will continue to have a heavy police presence searching the area, while our investigators continue to pursue all leads until Mr. Raborn is safely taken into custody," police said in an update.

Police said in an earlier public safety alert that Raborn ran from his vehicle in the area. Details of the suspected bank robbery have not been released.

Police described Raborn as a white man with blonde shaggy hair, who is wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

"If you see this person, call 911 immediately," police said.
