- Roswell Police recently responded to a public nuisance call on Houze Road which involved a dog. A call was made to the department to report a dog that had been barking for a long period of time. Upon arriving in the area, police found the dog to be unrestrained and roaming freely outside. It was said that the animal had been barking for an hour and a half. Officers tried to alert homeowners, but the dog would not let the pass. The dog had to be peppered sprayed to get it to move. The owners were notified of the loose pet and were given a warning. - The city is reminding residents that The Fulton County Department of Public Works will be repairing infrastructure inside Old Mill Park. The Public Works department is to repair sewer pipes and manholes with the park. Only a portion of the park will be closed to visitors while this work is being conducted. The city has closed the trail at Old Mill Park at the entrance on Mill St. This trail that leads to the waterfall on the Roswell side of Vickery Creek will be closed until the end of April. It will keep the lower section of trails, the covered bridge, the mill ruins, the boardwalk and the Old Mill Machine Shop open to visitors. (appenmedia.com)
