Roswell Council Holds Open Forum on Monday

It's the fifth Monday of the month, so residents can speak on any topic they like.

Another Open Forum is scheduled for Monday with the Roswell Mayor and City Council.

The forum begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall, 38 Hill Street.

During the open forum, citizens can speak on any topic for any length of time, as the five-minute rule for most public comment sessions is waived.

The Mayor and Council hold Open Forum meetings when there is a 5th Monday in a month.

Among the likely topics to be raised include the Unified Development Code, the upcoming Roswell elections and whether the city's municipal judge should be elected or appointed.

Roswell resident Stephanie Tackitt informed Roswell Patch over the weekend that she is planning to bring up speeding concerns in the Brookfield Country Club area at Monday's Open Forum.
