Roswell CVB Marks National Tourism Week

The Roswell Visitors Center will celebrate the week by featuring some of Roswell's tourism professionals in a social media campaign.

From The City of Roswell: May 7 – 13, 2017 is National Travel and Tourism Week. It’s a time when travel and tourism professionals across America promote the impactful contributions their travel markets and organizations make to the U.S. economy. The Roswell Visitors Center will celebrate the week by featuring some of Roswell’s tourism professionals in a Social Media campaign and mark the week with a give- away: “Modern Spirit. Southern Soul. A guide to GOOD TIMES in Roswell.” The booklet showcases historical attractions, kid-friendly places and activities, shopping, dining, the arts, local breweries and more. Free guides are available at the Roswell Visitors Center, 617 Atlanta Street. They are open Monday through Friday9 to 5, Saturdays 10 to 4 and Sundays 12 to 3.

The impact of tourism in Roswell during 2016 was $109,263,087.93 in direct spending.

Visit Roswell CVB is funded by lodging tax paid by visitors staying at Roswell hotels. The CVB markets and promotes the city as a tourist destination. Roswell currently has 11 lodging facilities and is fortunate to have outstanding attractions like the South’s only Trilogy of Historic House Museums, the Chattahoochee Nature Center and the Wild and Wonderful Chattahoochee River, A Georgia Designated Great Street – Canton Street, the Atlanta area’s best Ghost Tour, and much more.
