Roswell Hornets Show Off Strength
A recent Strongman competition had the Roswell High School Hornets football team testing their skill and showing off their strength.
The Hornets are already gearing up for a great fall 2012 season.
The team recently participated in a Strongman competition to raise money for the Roswell High School Touchdown Club. The club serves as the team's booster organization and supplements funding the program receives from Fulton County Schools.
Players took turns showing off their skills in events such as: the tire flip, the sandbag stack, the farmer's walk, the bench press and tug-of-war. According to a recent newsletter to Hornet parents, despite not yet attending Roswell High School, the freshman teams turned out in force and raised a significant portion of the funds.
