Here are the top three stories today in Roswell:
- Fulton County Schools entered into an agreement with Auburn University last year that will allow all public high school students in Fulton County to access free or reduced-cost classes. Sixty-three students so far have enrolled into the program. About 38% of the students are high school seniors and 62% are juniors. Roswell HS, Johns Creek HS and Milton HS have the most enrollees into the program. Fulton County Schools Chief Academic Officer Clifford Jones reported that the most popular courses the students are choosing are English 1100, Psychology 2010 and Economics 2020. (appenmedia.com)
- An 82-year-old Roswell man was arrested for stabbing his 80-year-old wife to death. He had initially reported to police that she had committed suicide. The autopsy report contradicted his claims and determined the cause of death was homicide. The husband was arrested on September 28 and was booked into Fulton County Jail. No motive for the crime was reported.(fox5atlanta.com)
