Roswell Mayor Gives Update On 100-Day Plan During City Council
Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson provided an update at Monday's City Council meeting on goals such as the "Evaluate Zero-Based Budgeting" plan.
ROSWELL, GA — Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson gave an update on the city’s 100-Day Plan at the City Council meeting on Monday.
He provided an update on the “Evaluate Zero-Based Budgeting” goal, indicating that Councilmember Christine Hall and Finance Director Ryan Luckett had been working collaboratively to address and complete the goal.
Under that goal, City Council said it would fully review the basis of local government spending and their strategic budgeting methods.

“We will take a close look at our current practice of ‘priority-based budgeting’ and will consider the possible advantages of practicing ‘zero-based budgeting,’” according to the website.
City of Roswell leaders announced on January 24 the 100-Day Plan would accomplish several important goals through May 3. The Plan will focus on collaborative, concerted efforts to achieve a variety of critical City objectives, according to the City.
