Roswell Nonprofit SOARD Celebrates 1 Year With Party
The home furnishing store's nonprofit Sunshine on a Ranney Day, will have entertainment, face-painting and more Nov. 6.
ROSWELL — A Roswell nonprofit that renovates homes for children with special needs will celebrate its one-year anniversary Saturday with a family-friendly party. Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD) will have balloon art, face painting, live music and pop-up shops.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 109B Oak Street in Roswell. Parking will be available on-site.
SOARD is a licensed general contractor which specializes in wheelchair accessible bathrooms, dream bedrooms, in-home therapy rooms and wheelchair ramps/lifts.

The nonprofit’s home furnishing and decor store uses sales to cover the charity’s operational costs. All donations go to makeovers, and in 2021 have helped fund 12 Sunshine on a Ranney Day room makeovers for kids with special needs.
