Roswell Ramblers More Or Less Players Present 'Pistols & Posies'

'Pistols & Posies' portrays rival Chicago gangs selling alcohol to speakeasies under the comical conflict of prohibition.

From Roswell Ramblers: Take a trip back to the Roaring Twenties when Roswell Rambler’s More or Less Players presents “Pistols & Posies” at the Adult Recreation Center, 830 Grimes Bridge Road.

“Pistols & Posies” portrays rival Chicago gangs selling alcohol to speakeasies under the comical conflict of prohibition. The story follows the tumultuous storylines of Ganger Leader Primo Malvone, his biggest competitor Mama Mia, and an opera singer who loves jazz. Primo’s wacky family and dimwitted thugs tag along adding hilarious commentary.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7.00. “Lunch & A Show” and “Dinner & A Show” options are available for $15.00, with a menu featuring chicken parmigiana. Call 770-641-3950 to reserve tickets for the lunch/dinner option by May 4.

The More or Less Players is a troupe of actors age 50 and older. The Roswell Ramblers is a membership organization offered through the City of Roswell’s Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department and serves active individuals who are interested in developing recreational programs and activities for the mutual benefit of citizens aged 50 and over.
